ENERPO Journal Volume 11, Issue 1

The ENERPO Journal team is happy to announce that the 2023 edition is now available!

The current anniversary edition features six contributions, including peer-reviewed research articles (analysis), interviews and an announcement of the book ‘Russian Coal in the Era of Climate Change’ written by a team of experts of the ENERPO Research Center and published by the Palgrave Macmillan this November.

EUSP’s ENERPO Center scholars Olga Teplova, Andrei Ivanov and Marina Alieva offer readers an in-depth analysis of the progress of sampled Russian companies towards developing climate transition plans (strategies) and disclosing climate-related information. Rohan Nest’s article explores the current state of Sino-Caspian energy cooperation by examining China’s energy relationships with its two major economic partners in the region: Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan.

In this anniversary issue, in addition to already familiar formats of analysis and viewpoint articles, we decided to include a
series of interviews with special focus on professional development. Firstly, we place our ENERPO Program in the context
of lifelong education and career planning with career consultant Evgeniya Beba. We also spoke to two of our graduates, Nicholas Watt (class of 2013) and Michael Roh (class of 2016), who shared their stories about career development after graduation from ENERPO.

A downloadable version of the issue can be found here and under the ‘Archive’ tab. You can also find contributions of the anniversary issue on our website.
